At NestGuard, protecting families also means protecting their data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have. Because our service supports parents in safeguarding their children, we hold ourselves to the strictest standards of privacy and child protection.
We collect only the information necessary to provide our guidance: contact details you share with us (such as your name and email address), the details you voluntarily provide about your family's online-safety concerns, and any publicly available information you choose to review with us during a consultation. We do not seek or store passwords, private messages, or any data obtained without proper authorization.
NestGuard is intended for use by parents and legal guardians. Our services are not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Any information relating to a minor is provided by, and reviewed with the consent of, that child's parent or legal guardian, solely for the purpose of protecting that child's wellbeing.
We operate in accordance with the U.S. Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and the "GDPR-Kids" (GDPR-K) provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation governing the personal data of minors. We rely on verifiable parental consent, collect the minimum data necessary, and honor requests from parents to review, correct, or delete any information relating to their child.
We use the information you provide only to deliver our consultancy — understanding your family's needs, preparing your personalized safety plan, and communicating with you. We never sell your personal information, and we never use it for advertising or profiling of children.
We retain your information only as long as needed to provide our services. Any working notes and materials created during a consultation are securely deleted within 30 days of delivering your safety plan, unless you ask us to retain them for ongoing support or the law requires otherwise.
We apply appropriate technical and organizational safeguards — including encryption, access controls, and strict confidentiality practices — to protect your family's information against unauthorized access, disclosure, or loss.
This website is designed to operate simply and does not use invasive tracking cookies or collect behavioral data from its visitors.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information — and any information relating to your child — at any time. To exercise these rights, simply contact us using the details below.
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your information, please contact our privacy team at privacy@nestguard.co.
